Who We Are
The Glen Ivy Center is the Southwest regional hub for Emissaries of Divine Light. The Emissaries were founded in 1932 by Lloyd Arthur Meeker to participate in a work of spiritual regeneration of mankind. We are an international organization with centers around the world in places like Australia, South Korea, South Africa and throughout North America. We are known for a warm spirit of home which evokes the finest from each one who visits. We have lived practical spirituality as a community of people in this place since 1977. Come add your special essence to our home.
Other Emissary Communities
The first Emissary community, Sunrise Ranch, was established in Loveland, Colorado in 1945. It was founded as a way of demonstrating practical spirituality and as international headquarters for The Emissaries of Divine Light. Over the years a number of other communities have developed throughout the world, each unique and fluid in size and duration. These communities, whether residential or virtual, share the commitment to live creatively and responsibly, guided by the wisdom of Source. Today, there are 10 primary communities throughout North America, England, Australia and South Africa, with affiliated groups throughout the world.
